Join the Friends of Rookery Bay for Tales from the Coast, stories about science, nature and adventure. Held at Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center, the event will include beer, wine and appetizers. The January 24, 2018 event features Dr. David E. Guggenheim, founder and president of Ocean Doctor and former president & CEO of The Conservancy of Southwest Florida (Naples, Florida) and co-chair of the Everglades Coalition. Dr. Guggenheim will discuss perspectives of his 17+ years working in Cuba and how they relate to his experiences in Southwest Florida.
