Ocean Doctor at Garden Club of Denver/Denver Botanical Gardens

In an effort to link landlocked Colorado with our oceans, the Garden Club of Denver hosts Ocean Doctor president, Dr. David E. Guggenheim, at Denver Botanic Gardens. Dr. Guggenheim will speak on “Lessons from the Deep: What the Oceans Are Telling Us – and Why It Matters” at Denver Botanic Gardens on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. This free lecture, open to the public, will begin with a reception and light refreshments at 5 p.m., followed by the program at 5:30.

Garden Club of Denver and Denver Botanic Gardens share a commitment to water stewardship, encouraging water-efficient horticultural and agricultural practices. Denver Botanic Gardens co-runs the One World One Water Center (OWOW) with Metropolitan State University of Denver. Gardens members receive a discount on the online water studies certificate.

OFD has teamed up with Colorado Ocean Coalition to bring you special guest, Dr. Guggenheim for a night all about Cuba, conservation, and how you can travel there legally to see it for yourself.
